As we approach the close of another impactful year, OMEP Australia is proud to release the 2024 Annual Report. This year has been marked by significant strides in advocating for the rights and wellbeing of children, supporting educators, and contributing to global conversations on sustainability and early childhood education.

We expanded our focus on empowering educators to embed children’s rights into their daily practices. This included resources, workshops, and the success of projects like the SolarBuddy initiative, connecting children to real-world challenges and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Through partnerships with OMEP International and other organisations, we have contributed to initiatives promoting early childhood education as a cornerstone for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Children’s Week SolarBuddy project exemplified our commitment to meaningful community projects, fostering global citizenship in young children and their educators.

A Look Ahead

2025 promises even more opportunities to amplify the voices of children and early childhood educators. We will continue to innovate, advocate, and connect communities as we work towards our mission.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

A friendly reminder that our 2024 AGM will be held today, Tuesday, 26 November 2024 5:00 PM-6:30 PM (UTC+10:00) Brisbane. This is a wonderful opportunity for members to reflect on our achievements, discuss plans for the future, and connect with fellow advocates for early childhood education.

We encourage all members to attend and have your voice heard as we shape the direction of OMEP Australia for the coming year.
