The OMEP History Working Group created the project to document children’s experiences of COVID-19 for future generations in the Young Children’s Experiences of COVID Publication.
The project asked for submissions of children’s artworks depicting their experiences of changes to their lives since the outbreak of COVID-19. The plan was the focus on the good things in children’s lives as well as those things they have missed. The artworks respond to the following prompts:
- How I feel about COVID-19
- Something I enjoyed doing COVID-19
- Something I missed during COVID-19
The work forms part of a special commemoration of children’s experiences during the pandemic.
