OMEP WA held another enjoyable Sundowner, this time hosted by Jerome and Lesley in their beautiful home and garden. It was wonderful for friends to catch up and enjoy one anothers’ company, despite the current wave of COVID infections in the community.
The many achievements of OMEP to date their year in our work in promoting early childhood education for every child, upholding children’s rights and providing assistance to young children and their families suffering extreme disadvantage were outlined.
Members were reminded how they could actively contribute to the work of OMEP at the world, Australian and WA level, whether it be in advocacy, research, publication, working parties, fund raising or in assisting young children in need, particularly in WA and throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.
